The Examination Cell was established in the academic year 1995-96, for the purpose of conducting B.E. Examinations, valuation of answer scripts and declaration of results. It is headed by the Director of Evaluation and supported by two Joint Directors. There is sufficient number of supporting staff to look after the routine work of the Cell. The Cell is well established in terms of infrastructure, computing and printing facilities. Apart from B.E. Examinations, it is also conducting M.E./M.Tech. Examination of Osmania University including five affiliated colleges as per schedule. The Examination Cell has been awarded with ISO 9001 certification for the year 2000. The Examination Cell has got three sections namely Confidential Section, UG Section & PG Section. The activities of these sections are as under.

Paper Setting, Moderation, Proof Reading, Printing, Packing & dispatch of Question Papers to the Examination Centre.

UG & PG Section

Activities
  • Issue of Notifications as per the Almanac.
  • Scrutiny of Examination Application Forms and issue of Hall Tickets.
  • Preparation of Examination Time Tables.
  • Conducting spot valuation for B.E. & M.E./M.Tech. Courses
  • Processing and Publication of Results after conducting Results Committee Meeting.
  • Printing, Verification and issue of Memorandum of Marks.
  • Issue of Provisional Certificates, Consolidated Memorandum of Marks, Migration & Rank Certificates to the eligible candidates.
  • Issue of Transcripts after due verification
  • Conducting Annual Awards function and awarding of Gold Medals, Cash awards and Rank Certificates to the eligible candidates every year.

 

Note

  • The students are hereby instructed to read the Rules and Regulations for the four year Degree Courses in Engineering and two year PG courses in Engineering to understand the scheme of instruction and examination, rules of promotion, award of division, improvement of division and other rules of examinations. The scheme of instruction and prescribed syllabi for each of course study may be had from the respective Departments.
  • The Examination Branch, Osmania University, will issue degree Certificates to all the eligible candidates.

The Company/Organization/Institution seeking Certificate Verification of B.E./M.E./M.Tech. students about the genuineness of the issued certificates by Examination Cell, UCE, O.U. are requested to send the details of the student to given email address in the website www.uceou.edu (exam cell). Further, they are requested to send a hard copy of student credentials with prescribed fee to given address. The queries will be answered by mail within 2 working days & hard copy will be sent after verification within 5 working days from Exam Cell.
